Principles

The principles of a presentation come in three groups. Those of a figure, in any document of the family, form a fourth. Each follows the format of the reader-ergonomics principles.

Group What it covers
Pace: the listener cannot reread what appears on screen, and when, for a listener who cannot stop or replay
Slide: what the room sees the headline, the evidence, the legibility and the colour of one slide
Talk: the speaker and the hour the structure of the talk, the speaker's body, and the questions
Figure: how a figure is drawn how a figure or a diagram is made, reached, laid out, labelled and judged, in any document
