# Examples

Filled documents, one or more per shape. Each carries the Shape line of its shape, so the checks run on it as on any
document of that shape: an example that drifts from its shape fails CI.

| Example | Shape |
|---|---|
| [Lower bound in a sorted array](lower-bound-in-a-sorted-array.md) | [algorithm specification](../shapes/algorithm-specification.md) |
| [Keep login sessions in a shared store](shared-session-store.md) | [design document](../shapes/design-document.md), a change to a running system, invented for the example |
| [Pin the links to reader-ergonomics at its release commit](pin-links-at-the-release-commit.md) | [design document](../shapes/design-document.md), the proposal behind [record 0001](../decisions/0001-pin-links-at-the-release-commit.md) |
| [Architecture of reader-ergonomics-software-design](architecture-of-reader-ergonomics-software-design.md) | [architecture description](../shapes/architecture-description.md) |

The decision record's example is [record 0001](../decisions/0001-pin-links-at-the-release-commit.md) itself, and the
system diagram's sits in [its shape](../shapes/system-diagram.md#worked-example), since a diagram lives inside
another document.
